Patinated Carbon Steel Aluminium
Standing at approximately 1.6 metres high, “Bond of Union” was sculpted in wax and foam then cast in beryllium bronze. Its curiously fragile presence is balanced by the weight and counterweights of the spheres strategically attached onto its form, suggesting the fragility of life’s balance. This sculpture, while being monumental in size, is actually a prototype for a planned version that will be approx 5 meters tall … its message is a wonderful symbol of eternal love
